What were my parents like when they were young? What were their mothers and fathers like? How do I convey my family's story - and my current thoughts and dreams - to my young children, preserved for when they're old enough to appreciate and understand it?
Cadence of Life allows us to preserve these memories accurately and indelibly, so that we can always look back on the lives of our family, friends and selves.
Producing these “Cadences” started as a personal project. After reflecting on the loss of my grandmother, I got to thinking of her stories that would slowly fade from memory. How accounts of her humour, life lessons and our embarrassing childhood tales would fade over time.
Even on the day I lost her, a story of hers brought the beginnings of a smile to my face.

Cadence uses the latest audio and video technology to create a digital “time capsule” of you or your loved one. Once the audio or video (as per your choice) has been carefully edited, this “Cadence” is delivered to you on a personal memory stick in a bespoke, laser engraved box.

We set out to record people in their own homes, where they're most comfortable. When this is not possible, we utilise studios or other quiet environments. A concise questionnaire is provided ahead of time, so that we can work out the flow of the session and cover specific areas of interest.
